Markom is a marketing and communication boutique based in Beirut, working with lifestyle brands across Lebanon and the Gulf. We're small by design, and that's exactly the point.

Inspired by Dadaism and Surrealism, bold, irreverent, and a little unexpected. Just like the brands we love working with.

Where it started, and where it's going.

Built from real agency experience

Markom was founded in Beirut by a marketer with 6+ years of hands-on experience across social media strategy, content production, and brand campaigns for clients in healthcare, finance, fashion, and cosmetics.

From social media management to strategic partner

Markom started as a social media management studio. Over time, the work evolved, clients didn't just need content, they needed direction. Today, Markom operates as a boutique strategic partner: smaller, sharper, and far more selective about who we work with.

A name built like a puzzle

The Markom wordmark is deliberately unconventional, letters that overlap and interlock, inspired by the chaotic, attention-grabbing energy of cut-and-paste lettering. It reflects how we work: pulling pieces together until they create something that couldn't have existed any other way.

Markom is founded

Beirut-based, starting as a social media management studio for local brands.

2024

First major case studies

Campaigns delivered for Centre Hospitalier Du Nord, Inaash Foundation, Estilad Lebanon, Beta Investment Group, and more, across healthcare, heritage luxury fashion, and finance.

The boutique repositioning

Markom narrows its focus, lifestyle brands only, across Lebanon and the Gulf, with a maximum of 4 active clients at any time.

Boldness over blending in

We'd rather make a brand that some people love and some people don't, than one that nobody remembers.

Strategy is non-negotiable

No content, no campaign, no creative gets produced without a strategic reason behind it. Every time.

Honesty, even when it's awkward

If something isn't working, we say so, directly, early, and with a plan to fix it. Not after three months of silence.

Fewer clients, more focus

Capping our roster at 4 active clients isn't a limitation, it's how we guarantee the quality every brand deserves.

Visual language

Circles. Triangles. Rectangles. On purpose.

Every visual element we use traces back to three shapes pulled directly from the Markom brandmark. It's a deliberate constraint, and like most good constraints, it's where the creativity actually happens.

"Most brands don't need more marketing. They need someone to walk in, look at everything, and say, this is wrong, this needs to be fixed, and this needs to be cut immediately. That's what we've been doing for the past 6 years."
